Kristie – known as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Dentists works with dentists who want to attract high-value patients and leverage their marketing dollars. She brings two decades of dental experience, her electric energy, and her passion for elevating practice marketing strategy. As a former college mathematics instructor, Kristie uses her love of numbers to teach dental professionals how to consistently improve return on investment of both money and time.

As the founder of My Dental CMO, Kristie creates marketing plans and trains dental teams nationwide, from private practices in rural communities to multi-specialty groups in large metropolitan areas.

In high demand as a speaker, she has delivered over 100 presentations across the country. With a “head for numbers” and a “passion for teaching”, Kristie’s audiences frequently rave that they never realized effective marketing could be this straightforward, easy to execute, and fun!

Kristie lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Jim. She balances her busy coaching life with cycling to support the Challenged Athletes Foundation or experimenting with incredible baked goods in her “test kitchen.”

Cycling and CAF

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) raises money to help people with physical challenges pursue an active lifestyle through physical fitness and athletics. CAF’s mission is clear: give those with the desire to live active, competitive lifestyles every opportunity to compete in the sports they love.

Each October, CAF hosts a “Million Dollar Challenge.” This event is a 620 mile, 7-day ride down the coast of CA to raise money and awareness for Challenged Athletes. In 2010, she signed up for CAF's Million Dollar Challenge as a "bucket list" event and raised $10,000. It changed her life. Since then, Kristie has completed the Million Dollar Challenge seven times. She had planned to return in 2020. We all know what happened. In 2021, just a few months before the event she was diagnosed with cancer. She sent a team of riders in her place. Sitting out helped her better understand how difficult it is to be "left out" of something you love because of a challenge.

Baking it Forward


One of Kristie’s passions is baking. You’ll always find her cupcakes at The KiDDS Foundation Annual Golf Tournament and the ZBC Christmas Spectacular. She also often bakes at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, OH. And, if you have an event coming up she’ll bake for you! She’s provided cakes, cupcakes, cookies and more for weddings, birthday parties, referring dental offices and local charity events. She doesn’t charge for her treats. All donations go directly to the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
